Hi,I'm Jeanne Dubs'(Stan Jones' sister) granddaughter. I was really excited to find out that you are my long lost relative. I love listening to your music by Stan Jones! I have just gotten copies of the old Stan Jones albums. I now have a guitar and hope to do my own renditions! I'm a horse woman myself. I played Stan Jones for Halloween this year (even though I'm 54). I live on Vashon Island (right off of West Seattle). Maybe you'll do a concert up this way someday. Or I'll seek you out in Portland.
Sincerely, CZ Reins (your cousin, ? removed)

Hey Keeter, I am a huge Stan Jones fan as I was born in Douglas, Arizona where Stan grew up. I became aware of Stan through an uncle of mine who claimed to have been with him in his youth when Capp Watts gave him the inspiration which later on developed into the great song "Riders in the Sky". I have been collecting Stan Jones memorabilia for years. I not only have as many of his music compositions as I can find; but films he was in, a movie script he wrote and an episode of "Waterfront" titled "Sea Rustlers". I'm still looking for "Ole Brown Dog" on private label and a few others as well. You have a fine arrangement of "Ghost Riders"; very spooky at that.
Yippeeyiyay,

Hi Keeter, My husband Steve and I loved hearing your uncles story, and your singing at Rendevous. We are from Tucson, and it's awesome to find out about your uncle, and that he's from southern Arizona too. Yay- we are spreading the word and giving your cd for Christmas.

I've been a follower of western music since I first saw Roy and gene and Tex back in the 1940s. A few years back I wanted some info on Stan jones so i got in touch with a newspaper in Arizona who put me onto a lady named Cindy who has just finished a story on SJ. She is going to send me a copy and alerted me at the same time to the web page of Keeter stuart and here I am, all the way from western Australia "Down Under" ! By hook or by crook I WILL get your CD ! Cheers and regards John Sheridan
